Letter: We need balanced policy on energy

I'd like to remind people that Sean Casten and his Green New Deal have given us high prices on gas for our vehicle and natural gas for heating and contributed to hyper inflation.

This has been done on purpose to force us into this supposedly beautiful green future. Unfortunately, we will need to strip mine the entire earth to obtain sufficient rare earth metals for the batteries and leave us reliant on China for our future energy needs.

We finally achieved energy independence but have thrown it away for a dream which will do more damage and is false. How about a balanced policy where we use all energy sources and make changes rationally, not based on emotion and fear mongering.
