Antioch to welcome Vintage Shop Hop visitors

ANTIOCH - The village of Antioch is preparing for vintage, antique and home décor enthusiasts to ascend into the village Friday and Saturday, Oct, 7-8.

The twice-a-year Vintage Shop Hop draws thousands of shoppers throughout the region and involves hundreds of locally owned retail shops across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Seven Antioch businesses will participate in the event.

They include Family Heirloom Antiques, Inspired Home, Ms. Peddler's Boutique, Wilmot Heritage Antiques, Rustic and Reclaimed Market, Vintage Mercantile, and Great Lakes Antiques - Boutique.

"Last spring, we had someone visit our shop all the way from Texas," said Heather Fenzel of Family Heirloom Antiques. "It's a great way for antiquers to visit amazing small businesses and find unique treasures, all while having a fantastic time with their shop-hoppin' crew."
