Letter: Vrett is better choice for Illinois House
I have been watching the TV commercials in the election for state representative in the 53rd district.
Seems to me that it's time to retire Mark Walker who has been in the job since 2009.
Walker just follows the Democratic Party mantra no matter what the issue. That means he voted for the Safe-T Act which goes into effect Jan. 1, 2023.
When this law goes into effect, criminals awaiting trial will be released into our streets because bail will be gone.
A better choice is Jack Vrett. He cares about safety in our streets for our children and better economic policies for our suburbs. We need more legislators who will stand up against the dangerous Democratic policies like the Safe-T Act.
