Letter: Do something at bridge

Once again, village of Long Grove leaders and the historical committee refuse to accept the reality that truck drivers will not heed all the warning signs, lights and GPS notifications before slamming into a relic of nostalgic insanity.

This most recent one could have created serious injury to the driver, if you saw the truck's damage. This is what corporate America would call ancient leadership.

Will somebody just call the guy at the road department and install a Headache Bar so we can move on? My ribs are sore from laughing about this every other month.

I'm still willing to buy the ice cream if they move the bridge to the park.
