Tech company to bring Robot Roadshow to suburbs

HUNTLEY - Knightscope Inc., a California-based developer of security technologies, said Thursday it will bring its mobile Robot Roadshow to Huntley Village Green next week.

A mobile unit to display the company's robotic security solutions will be open to tour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at the shopping center, 13304 Village Green Drive.

The Robot Roadshow has made 60 landings in 23 states and Washington, D.C. to date, the company said. Knightscope's crime-fighting robots tour the U.S. in a space-age, NASA-like "pod" allowing attendees to experience all the technology that is enabling these Autonomous Security Robots (ASRs) to help make sites safer from Hawaii to North Carolina, Knightscope said in a news release.

The roadshow is an engaging event used to grab attention fast, forge direct connections with potential clients, and strike up conversations in a compelling fashion, said the Mountain View, California company said.
