Woman crashes into Cricket store in Palatine

No one was injured when a woman drove through the glass front of a Cricket Wireless store Tuesday in Palatine, according to the Palatine Police Department.

Palatine police and fire responded about 4:30 p.m. to the crash scene on Dundee Road near Hicks Road.

Authorities said that a woman who had parked in front of the store accidentally drove forward and shattered the glass in the front of the building.

No structural damage was done to the business itself, authorities said. The crash is still under investigation.
