Man has medical emergency while driving in Palatine

An elderly man was taken to the hospital after crashing his vehicle Tuesday morning in Palatine, according to the Palatine Police Department.

At 9:19 a.m., authorities responded to a single-vehicle accident on the Rohlwing Road south of Baldwin Road.

Authorities said the man had a medical emergency while driving. He was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights for evaluation.

The crash is still under investigation.
