US Foods will open 88th store in Utah

ROSEMONT - US Foods Holding Corp. said Wednesday it plans to open a retail CHEF'STORE in St. George, Utah, in February.

The new 20,000-square-foot restaurant supply and retail store will be the second CHEF'STORE in Utah. The stores offer a one-stop shopping for restaurant operators, food industry professionals, community groups and at-home chefs seeking ingredients and supplies of various sizes and offerings.

Rosemont-based US Foods, a distributor of food to the restaurant industry, acquired Smart Foodservice Warehouse stores in 2020 to accelerate growth in the cash-and-carry market. The stores were later rebranded as CHEF'STORE.

With the addition of the St. George store, US Foods will have 88 CHEF'STORE locations nationwide across 12 states.
