Aurora shooting victim identified

Authorities on Monday identified the 29-year-old man who was killed in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Aurora.

Aurora resident Ferrer Vincente Velasquez was pronounced dead just after 2 p.m. Saturday, officials said. Velasquez and a second man, also 29, were found shot near Velasquez's home.

The other man was airlifted to a Chicago hospital and was still in critical condition, Aurora police said Monday.
