Letter: Biden of today has changed

I'm writing regarding the article titled, "Why Don't You Like Joe Biden" by Susan Estrich. There are numerous items mentioned in this article that describe the former Sen. Joe Biden, which I consider to be the old Joe Biden. The Joe Biden of today is a totally different person than the old Joe Biden.

The current Joe Biden is not a moderate or a uniter. One example of the current Joe Biden is the executive order he signed to "forgive" student loan debt. This EO doesn't forgive anything. Instead, it passes the debt along to those who didn't incur it. The real problem with student loan debt sits with government control of student loans and the colleges who hood wink students into believing meaningless degrees will pay the bills.

Another example is the speech Joe Biden gave in Philadelphia. Biden called half the country semi-fascist. Is this any way to unite the country? Definitely not.

Other Biden flops to consider are immigration, border security, deaths due to fentanyl, rampant inflation, the economy, labeling parents of K-12 children as domestic terrorists, and abysmal foreign policy to name a few.

When it comes to going with the "old" or the "new," the new Joe Biden just doesn't have what it takes.
