Man charged with beating, carjacking of chef in Chinatown

An 18-year-old man is charged with attempted murder and other felonies in a beating and carjacking over five months ago near Chicago's Chinatown neighborhood, officials announced Friday.

Termaine Patterson was arrested Thursday in the attack on Jin Yut Lew, 61.
