Letter: Consider Texas
It's nice that the sanctuary cities can provide living arrangements, along with employment assistance, food assistance, medical insurance, etc., for the illegal migrants sent from Texas. Why haven't they been able to provide these things for the homeless people living in their cities?
They're complaining about not getting advance notice that buses are bringing these migrant; what do they think is happening in Texas? Chicago has even sent them to other cities with no advance notice.
Over 2,500 migrants cross into Texas every day. Texas has been asking for help from the federal government and is ignored. Now it's just helping these sanctuary cities fulfill their promises to the migrants.
