Letter: Nation needs a leader

The president was elected as the "anti-Trump" candidate. What we got was the Bernie Sanders socialist ideology bowing to the far-left fringe of the Democrat party. Executive orders are written by handlers and foisted upon the rest of us. The consequences are what we are experiencing today.

America needs a leader. The Trump policies are proven to be successful - why do they need to be reversed? The Trump drama we can live without, but "America First" policies and common-sense reforms made the USA prosperous, safe and respected around the world. Can we say that is true today, less than two years into Biden's term? Of course not.

More than that - what long-lasting effects will we suffer from two more years of this? I am concerned for the future of our country. We need common-sense bipartisan efforts in Washington, D.C. Is that a radical idea? Vote in November. We are all united as Americans.
