The Naperville Hispanic Festival takes place this weekend in Central Park in downtown Naperville.

Special events will be held throughout September, but the second annual festival runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17.

Presented by the Naperville Sister Cities, the festival features a South of the Border Marketplace and a Taste of Latin America with food from Tickle My Tamale, Taco Dale, Cupido Bakery, FlanBoyan, Olga's Agua Fresca, Dark Horse and The Swine Cellar.

There also will be a scavenger hunt with prizes and music from the Martin Metzger Flamenco Ensemble, Los Perros Cubanos, and Jose Valdes and the Mambo All-Stars.
