Why Indian Trails library is surveying patrons
The Wheeling-based Indian Trails Public Library District is asking its patrons to help them come up with ideas for programming.
"We're refreshing our offerings for the future," library spokeswoman Jen Schmidt said.
Two online surveys are available: one for patrons who attend library programs and one for those who don't.
The first survey will be emailed to anyone who attends an adult program in September or October. It's designed to tell library officials about patrons' needs and interests, Schmidt said.
The other survey is designed to tell library officials about the barriers that keep people from attending programs.
The surveys will be available through Oct. 31 at itpld.org/adult-program-surveys-2022.
Additionally, paper copies of both surveys are available at the main library, 355 Schoenbeck Road, and at the branch, 99 E. Palatine Road in Prospect Heights.
Those who complete either survey are eligible for prizes, officials said.
