Elgin High Class of 1971 donates to Elgin High Booster Club

On Sept. 7, the Elgin High Class of 1971 donated the sum of $1,971 at the Elgin High Athletic Booster Club meeting.

The mission of the booster club is to enhance an environment that inspires student athletes, coaches, parents and the community to collectively create a positive and spirited atmosphere for all the athletic programs.

The Class of 1971's hope was that money would be available to athletes in need of sporting equipment.

The Class of '71 also donated a bench that is placed outside the high school by the memorial plaque and bricks for all to enjoy.
