Libertyville's Tour of Homes showcases one-of-a-kind houses

Join MainStreet Libertyville from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, for the Libertyville Tour of Homes.

This newly rebranded tour, formerly the Historic Home Tour, will feature five homes throughout Libertyville, dating from 1900 to 2008.

Each of these homes have been given a unique name based on their character, charm and design. Come see "Two For One," "The Fullerton," "Charmed By The Past," "Maison Marnie" and "Hidden Surprise."

"We are thrilled to be back for an in-person home tour, and we're even more excited to showcase five gorgeous homes that we know our visitors will love," said Erin Kahn, design chair for MainStreet Libertyville.

"From historic and charming to artistic and visionary, these homes are all one-of-a-kind."

Tour tickets are available in advance for $25 at the MainStreet Libertyville website, mainstreetlibertyville.org, or from the MainStreet Libertyville Office, 150 E. Cook St., #102, Libertyville.

Tour booklets with a map will be distributed in Cook Park on the day of the event beginning at 9 a.m. Tickets purchased on the day of the event are $30.
