Gottlieb launches new Chicago-area law firm

NORTHFIELD - Attorney David M. Gottlieb has launched GottsLaw LLC, a law firm that specializes in commercial and residential real estate, as well as handling trusts and estate matters throughout Illinois.

Gottlieb brings 30 years of insight and acumen in real estate, as well as the areas of trust and estate work, as he prioritizes the creation and protection of clients' wealth.

Gottlieb graduated from University of Minnesota Law School and gained admittance to the Illinois Bar in 1990. He serves as a trusted fiduciary and adviser, dedicated to putting his clients' interests first. He is a member of the ISBA, Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and served on the Northbrook Industrial & Commercial Development Commission for 12 years.

"I tend to favor a pragmatic approach, which allows me to utilize my experience in both healthy and distressed situations to help my clients achieve their goals," Gottlieb said. "My career has spanned four recessions, so I have learned that each one is unique in the challenges and opportunities afforded before, during and after a downturn."

GottsLaw provides services including contracts, negotiations, due diligence, acquisitions, dispositions, 1031 exchanges, closings, workouts, REO, foreclosures, leases, and evictions. On a personal level, GottsLaw assists in strategic planning by integrating revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other legal documentation to protect accumulated wealth and estates.
