OWC buys Ohio-based SellYourMac.com

WOODSTOCK - Other World Computing Inc. Tuesday said it has acquired SellYourMac.com, a top Apple products trade-in company.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Cincinnati-based SellYourMac.com has been a leader in Apple trade-ins since its inception in 2009. The combination of SellYourMac.com's easy to use trade-in platform and OWC's experience and trust in the Apple marketplace helps establish OWC as the No. 1 place for Apple users worldwide to trade in their Apple devices, the company said.

"More Macs, iPhones and iPads find continuing purpose with their next owner and a fair trade-in from their present," said Larry O'Connor, founder and CEO of OWC. "Our Apple Refurbishments division is now even better for all of our customers' buy and trade-in/sell needs."
