Muslim convention opens in Rosemont

The 59th annual Islamic Society of North America convention opened Friday at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

The convention is the largest gathering of Muslims in North America. This year's theme is "Resilience, Hope, & Faith: With Hardship, Comes Ease."
