St. Charles city hall phones down for scheduled maintenance Thursday

The city of St. Charles is performing scheduled maintenance to its phone system from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

During this time, calls to regular office phone numbers, including the police nonemergency line. will not be available.

If residents need a police officer for any reason, whether it's for a simple service call or for an emergency situation, please call 911. Calling 911 is the only way to have an officer dispatched for service.

While the phone system is being updated, residents also should use 911 to report an after-hours public works emergency.
