Arlington Heights begins next Citizen's Police Academy Sept. 13

The Arlington Heights Police Department is inviting village residents and business leaders to sign up for the next session of its Citizen's Police Academy, a free program that provides hands-on experience and practical insights into the department's everyday operations and specialized services.

The 10-week program will include weekly classes from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 13th and ending Nov. 15.

Topics include traffic and DUI enforcement; criminal investigations; weapons use and safety; crash investigations; and forensic investigations.
