Biden misses chance to be transparent

During President Biden's preamble, prior to signing into law the Inflation Reduction Act, he made the following statements pertaining to prescription drugs: There will be an annual cap to those on Medicare of $2,000 and you will never pay more than $2,000 regardless of your health situation.

He also said he should be judged not by his rhetoric but his action. He said it's a godsend and long overdue.

What he did not say is the $2,000 cap will not go into law until 2025. It is difficult to tie his call for action and to a benefit that will not be realized for three more years. A far cry from total transparency.
