Letter: Consider all issues when picking candidates

People/voters are very passionate about certain issues more than others. Gun control and abortion seem high on the list. However, when voting in November voters must get control of their emotions and pick a candidate not just based on one or two beliefs but know where the candidates stand on all issues that are vitally important to the well-being of our country short and long term.

We need leaders who will make us energy independent while being conscious of climate control, will get manufacturing in America humming again, will incentivize our pharmaceutical companies to make the drugs we need in America at reasonable prices, will help protect our 401(k)s, will lower gas prices, will build a strong military that will keep countries like Russia/China/Iran in check, will upgrade the police force and empower them to make our cities safe and deal severely with people who break the law, will close our borders and only allow immigrants to enter legally, will incentivize people to work not stay home, will make students pay back what they borrowed, will work to create compromise with abortion supporters and abortion opponents, will adjust the Second Amendment relative to today, will suggest that all young people serve in the military or a Peace Corps system, will not abandon countries we helped get on the right path, such as Afghanistan, Ukraine.

Many issues will determine the successful future of America, not just one or two that you might be passionate about. Let's find the right person and vote for him or her.
