Libertyville High School Alumni Band seeking sponsors and members

The Libertyville High School Alumni Band is currently seeking local businesses to sponsor their participation in the LHS Homecoming Parade Saturday, Oct. 1.

The band will be marching in honor of David Kublank Sr., who recently passed away. Kublank taught at both Butterfield and Highland middle schools, conducted the Village Band and hosted the band's Fourth of July ceremonies for 40 years.

The band will celebrate his legacy this year with a float in his honor.

The Alumni Band is also seeking all former LHS band members, flags and twirlers to join them as they march and play in this year's parade.

Those businesses interested in sponsoring and honoring Kublank may contact them via their email.
