Letter: Disastrous consequences of abortion decision

The unconscionable prosecution of a 10-year-old rape victim and the doctor who provided her humane care is just the start of the disastrous consequences of overturning Roe v. Wade. This is what happens when zealots with no respect for women or children make arbitrary cruel rules that deny rights because they believe their moral code is the only right one. Women dying of ectopic pregnancies due to doctors' concerns about being prosecuted? Women having miscarriages being treated as murderers? These are just a few of the gruesome, heartless results we are starting to see now that extremists are in charge of women's bodies.

Americans, wake up. Work to get this reversed and vote to remove extremists out of positions of power or we'll continue to see more of such consequences.
