Letter: Do what's right for planet, Republicans

There are 50 senators who refuse to participate in drafting climate change legislation. Certainly some of them understand the need to take action for the good of the country and the planet. If even a few stepped up and worked with the Democrats on this issue, a bill could be drafted and passed.

It is absurd to lay the failure to pass a bill upon a single senator. These people have agency. The (R) after a senator's name doesn't magically absolve them of responsibility to do what they know is right.
