Letter: The big 'if' in Bailey's 'apology'
Re: Darren Bailey's "apology" for his "Move on" remark as reported in the Daily Herald: "I apologize if in any way we diminished the pain being felt across our state today ..."
First, any apology that contains an "if" is no apology at all. More akin to "Oooo, did I hurt your fee-fees, snowflake?"
He continues,"I hope we can all come together in prayer and action to address rampant crime and mental health issues to make sure these horrific tragedies don't happen again."
I would ask, what prayers do you suggest and what specific actions do you propose to take to make sure these horrific tragedies don't happen
again?
