Letter: Criticism out of line

I was appalled to read your editorial on Sunday critical of Jill Biden for having misspoken regarding Hispanics. As a lifelong Christian (90 years), I was taught that those who are without sin should cast the first stone. Have any of you never misspoken? There are plenty of those in Washington and Illinois who are knowingly lying for personal gain who you could criticize. I suspect you were looking for a Democrat to balance out your criticism of Republicans.
