Glen Ellyn Summer Concert Series continues with Gone Country Aug. 4

On Thursday, Aug. 4, the Glen Ellyn First Thursday Summer Concert Series continues with Gone Country.

Experience the best Chicago area bands at the free family friendly series and enjoy local food and drink vendors or bring in carryout from nearby restaurants.

No outside alcohol is allowed. Bring your chairs as early as 5 p.m.

Kid Whiskey will perform from 6 to 7:15 p.m., followed by Gone Country from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Gone Country has been performing your favorite country songs to audiences across the United States since 2013. Gone Country brings a fun, high energy performance to each show, leaving no excuses for anyone to be left in their seat. Come see your favorite songs performed the way you like 'em!

Enjoy craft beer, hard seltzer and wine by Two Hound Red from local nonprofit bartenders for the night: The B.R. Ryall YMCA and The Glenbard West Boosters.

Taste local food by Route 38 BBQ, Javi's Burritos, Heavenly Hot Dogs, and gelato from Chocolaterie Stam.

The final concert will be Sept. 1 with the Serendipity Duo and 7th Heaven.

The concert is conveniently located steps away from parking lots, the Metra station and the Prairie Bike Path in downtown Glen Ellyn at 505 Crescent Boulevard, Glen Ellyn.

The concert is free and family friendly. Bring your chairs as early as 5 p.m.
