Braxton Davidson hit a walk-off homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as the Schaumburg Boomers recorded a 4-3 win over the Evansville Otters in Thursday's series finale.

Davidson broke a 3-3 tie by pounding an 0-2 pitch with two outs deep over the wall in right. Evansville led 1-0 by scoring a run in the first before the Boomers put three on the board in the third. The Boomers drew eight walks in the game. Davidson knocked home a pair of runs while extending his on-base streak to 11. Chase Dawson reached twice to extend his on-base streak to 15. Both teams left 10 on base.

The Boomers (28-25) took two-of-three in the series.
