Letter: Give us info to make recycling easier

I try to do my part by recycling properly, but the recent report by Jenny Whidden was discouraging.

I do my best to put the right things in the right place, but based on the article this is not enough.

Let's be serious about this. I need help to do it properly, and apparently cannot because things that are marked recyclable are not, etc. So, if you want everyone to pitch in properly, perhaps making things easier on everyone by either marking products that can be recycled clearly as recyclable, or put the wheels in motion to stop the production of products that cannot be recycled.

Understandably there will be some products that must be made from some things that will fall into the non-recyclable category, but we should work toward an easier process for everyone and the planet.

With the current Supreme Court ruling about the EPA, it is more important than ever to try and save the planet we live on.
