Motorcyclist dies in crash near Deerfield

A motorcyclist died Thursday after a collision with a semitrailer truck on Interstate 94 near Deerfield Road.

The crash occurred about 1:45 p.m., according to a news release from the Illinois State Police. The driver of the truck didn't report any injuries.

All lanes were reopened around 4:20 p.m., state police said. The crash remains under investigation.
