Grains lower, Livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Jul. declined 28.25 cents at $8.3925 a bushel; Jul. corn fell 22.75 cents at $7.67 a bushel; Sep. oats was off 7 cents at $4.79 a bushel; while Jul. soybeans dropped 27 cents at 16.1750 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug. live cattle rose 1.67 cents at $1.3587 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle gained 4.83 cents at $1.7580 a pound; Jul. lean hogs wasf up .27 cent at $1.1312 a pound.
