Naperville police offering college safety presentation for students, parents
The Naperville Police Department is offering a college safety presentation for students and parents.
The Safety for the College-Bound Student presentation will be held at 7 p.m. July 21 at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Ave. The seminar for college freshmen and their parents will focus on drug and alcohol education and personal safety.
Because of space constraints, registration is required. Families can register at Naperville.il.us/backtoschool on a first-come, first-served basis.
"This is a great opportunity to learn how to be safe while on campus and away from home," said Mary Browning, a crime prevention specialist with the police department.
