Letter: Who really is Bailey's candidate?
Outgoing Gov. J.B. Pritzker called Darren Bailey "Trump's candidate" the other day and he couldn't be more wrong.
Do you know who really is Bailey's candidate? The biracial child in school subjected to CRT that doesn't know which side of the issue they should stand on, or why they are being taught it instead of the three R's.
The young family that has to tell their small children they can't go on a vacation, because they can't afford the extra gas for their car. The single mother in Chicago that constantly worries about her children staying alive and herself not getting mugged or beaten. The senior citizen who has seen taxes on everything they buy raised to astronomical levels that they cannot afford on a fixed income. The family that finds out that their first grader is being taught sex education already, when they were preparing to allow their child to remain innocent and teach them about it themselves in their own way and in their own time.
Most of all, the taxpayers who feel they no longer have a voice.
All these people and so many, many more, Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike are choosing to vote for Darren Bailey this fall and you should, too.
If you are still not sure, ask yourself the question that the great Ronald Reagan asked the public decades ago: "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"
That should make the choice crystal clear. Bailey/Trussell.
