Cops N Bobbers kids fishing derby Saturday in Mundelein

The Cops N Bobbers fishing derby for kids will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Mundelein Seminary, 1000 E. Maple Ave.

Participants should enter off Route 45/Lake Street and follow the signs. Registration is not required, and there is no entry fee. Free T-shirts to the first 100 kids and raffle prizes will be awarded

Attendees can bring a picnic lunch, but hot dogs also will be available. A limited number of fishing poles and bait also will be available. A fishing license is required for those 16 and older.
