Women's Club of Inverness announces scholarship winners

The Women's Club of Inverness has announced the following recipients of its 2022 scholarship awards:

• Katie Auyeung, Conant High School, will be attending Washington University to major in engineering.

• Valeria Ducatenzeiler, Palatine High School, will pursue a premed degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

• Christopher Gonzalez, Hoffman Estates High School, will be attending Michigan Technical University to study computer engineering.

• Ryan Kurrie, Palatine High School, plans to study finance and environmental science at Michigan State University.

• Isabel Matias, Hoffman Estates High School, will be attending Aurora University to pursue a nursing degree.

• Kieran Maude, Palatine High School, will major in special education at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

• Kaitlyn "Katie" Nichols, Palatine High School, will study journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Women's Club of Inverness, a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization, has depended on the generosity of the community for over 50 years to accomplish its philanthropic mission to address the needs of women, children, families, seniors and students. WCI has given over $1 million to local community agencies and scholarships.
