Des Plaines council meets Tuesday night

The Des Plaines City Council will hold a rare Tuesday meeting this week because Independence Day falls on Monday.

The session is set for 7 p.m. at city hall, 1420 Miner St.

The council is set to discuss a plan for a car dealership at 550 Northwest Highway and other business.
