Naperville AAUW needs donations for used book and media sale

The Naperville branch of the American Association of University Women is planning its next Used Book and Media Sale on Aug. 4-6.

They need your books and other media to make the sale a success!

Clear out your bookshelves and boxes of books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and video games, and donate them to the upcoming collection drives.

Drop off your donations from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, July 9 and 23, at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville.

Or bring your donations to the sale site on Monday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Washington Jr. High School, southside door, 201 N. Washington St. in Naperville.

Proceeds advance gender equity through research, education, and advocacy.

They accept hardcover and softcover books in good condition (not moldy, dusty, or damaged books), as well as CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and video games.

They will not accept encyclopedias, magazines, American Heritage, "Time-Life" books, spiral-bound books, Reader's Digest Condensed books, VCR tapes, or cassette tapes.
