Letter: Congress candidate is fine with deficits

Vote for Delia Ramirez for Congress to continue inflation. She is a hard-left progressive Democrat running in Congressional District 3. Hard Left Progressives advocate for modern monetary theory, which holds that the U.S. can run larger deficits than today. Loose fiscal policy from both Trump and Biden plus loose monetary policy from the Federal Reserve illustrate that theory. They are major factors in current inflation. We need to support candidates who will restrain growth in the deficit below the rate of growth in GDP. Gil Villegus, a more pragmatic progressive, is a better choice.
