Letter: Bike and save
Billions of dollars in tax money are spent at O'Hare and millions of tax money are spent at the tollway, and $100 of your money is spent at the pump once, maybe twice a week. You could choose to bike every 1-mile trip if you had bike parking. You could choose that 10-mile bike to work if you had safe on- or off-street connections. You could choose to bike to work many days per week, a few not. An ebike makes that trip in 20 minutes or less if you have a safe connection. Keep more money in your pocket, put a smile back on your face, and vote for candidates who will keep you safe.
