Celebrate first keg tapping for St. Charles first collaboration beer

The first St. Charles collaboration beer is coming Wednesday, June 15.

Alter Brewing + Kitchen, Broken Brix, D & G Brewing, Octane 93, Pollyanna Brewing Co., and Riverlands Brewing Co. have all come together to create the STC Six, an amber lager with caramel malt, subtle spicy noble hops and a light citrus flavor.

Help celebrate the first keg tapping at Riverlands Brewing, 1860 Dean St., Unit A, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 15.

A portion of the sales will be donated to Tri City Health Partnership. Tri City Partnership is the only free medical and dental clinic in Kane County. Many local bars and restaurants have enough to worry about just running their business, and most can't afford to offer health insurance to their staff. TCHP treats those with no insurance for free: exams, medications, lab work, radiology and more. Currently 58% of their patients work at bars and restaurants.

"Times have certainly been tough for breweries and hospitality at large. Charity has always been a huge part of the craft beer world and we're thrilled to be able to support a local cause with this collaboration," says Adam Hooczko, Marketing Manager at Alter Brewing + Kitchen. "All for one, and one for all" rings especially true and makes us proud to be part of something bigger than ourselves."

Tri City Health Partnership solely relies on grants, donations and fundraisers to continue their mission. That's why the STC Six Collaboration will have a great impact on those in need. By working together, the collaboration and Tri City Health Partnership can keep St. Charles businesses working and the community healthy.

Make sure to head to any one of the six breweries on June 15th to enjoy this new lager and to purchase limited edition STC Six merchandise. Visit stcsix.com for more information about this collaboration.
