Glenview Gardeners Plant Sale: The Glenview Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at 2328 Central Ave. (corner of Central and Shermer Rd.). An assortment of plants, most from members gardens, will be available for purchase while members will be on hand to share tips on growing plants. The sale benefits the club's community projects, such as maintaining the garden behind the Kennicott house at the Grove National Historic Site, as well as the butterfly-friendly garden next to it, which the club established last year.
