Naperville Park District celebrating two renovated playgrounds

The Naperville Park District is inviting the community to celebrate the opening of renovated playgrounds at the Frontier Sports Complex and Kingshill Park.

The Frontier Sports Complex ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at 3415 Book Road on the east side of the complex. The Kingshill Park ceremony is at 5 p.m. June 21, at 4271 White Eagle Drive.

There will be a brief ribbon-cutting at both ceremonies. The public can enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and explore the new playground equipment.

If the ceremonies need to be canceled due to inclement weather, they'll be held at the same time on the next day. Residents can check on closures and cancellations at napervilleparks.org/cancellations.
