Letter: Honor vets; vote

Last week, we observed Memorial Day, a day that honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve democracy - a democracy that is in real danger of being lost due to the need of politicians to value ultimate power over democracy. Too many citizens do not take this seriously, and the consequences will be devastating. Hold these power-hungry politicians accountable. Do not let those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, be in vain.
