Funk, blues and soul at free concert
Cadillac Groove performs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parkman Pavilion, 2200 E. Grass Lake Road, Lindenhurst. The eight-piece group plays high-energy funk, blues rock, soul and R & B. Those who attend are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers. The free Live Music in the Parks concert series is held every Wednesday at one of four venues. The series is sponsored by the Lindenhurst Park District, village of Lindenhurst, village of Lake Villa, Lake Villa Township, LLR Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Villa District Library.
