News release: Local earns medical degree from WVSOM

Sanjana Bendi, D.O., graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree on May 28, 2022.

Dr. Bendi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 2017. She is a 2013 graduate of William Fremd High School in Palatine, Ill.

Bendi is the daughter of Shanthi and Bose Bendi of Palatine.

She plans to enter a pediatrics residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas.
