Three people injured in Palatine crash

Three people were injured Wednesday evening in a three-vehicle crash in Palatine, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5 p.m. near Lake-Cook Road and Hicks Road, according to the Palatine Police Department. The injured were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.

The driver who caused the crash received a citation, police said.
