Letter: The candidate to trust in Congress District 6

In her new TV ad, Marie Newman brags that she is a fierce fighter for legal abortion and informs us that she herself has had an abortion.

She derides anti-abortionists Dan Lipinski and George (H.W.) Bush, and suggests with words and graphic pictures that Sean Castin's beliefs and actions have been no better.

But, in praising herself and castigating Sean, she hides that fact that both she and Sean have identical endorsements. Both are endorsed by NARAL Pro-Choice America. Both are endorsed by Planned Parenthood Action. Only Sean has been rated by NARAL, and he received a perfect score.

Marie ends her video by asking: "With the stakes this high, who do you trust?"

Do you trust someone who tries to fool you into thinking that her opponent opposes legal abortion, when both are endorsed by the same pro-choice groups?

Like Marie, I end my letter by asking: "With stakes this high, whom do you trust?"
